What is Sakurabook? And how does it work?

Sakurabook is Shopify's first official reservation app that fully supports Japanese. By introducing the app to your Shopify site, you can add a reservation service to the popular shopping cart Shopify product sales site, removing the barrier between product sales and reservations. What you can do with Sakurabook is as follows.
・You can sell products at beauty salons, gyms, pet salons, etc., as well as accept reservations and make payments.
・Reservations and payments can be made for free and paid online services using Zoom.

When we reach 80% of the maximum number of reservations for each course, we will send you an email with "plan upgrade information." Please upgrade your plan from the app management menu. (Please note that if you do not upgrade, we will not accept reservations exceeding the maximum number.)

Is it possible to set an interval time before and after the reservation service?

Yes, you can freely set the interval time before and after the reservation, such as 15 minutes for advance preparation and 15 minutes for cleaning up.

Is it possible to manually select approval / disapproval of the accepted reservation?

A
Reservations are treated as "products" in Shopify. Therefore, "reservation approval" = "product payment confirmation". Manual confirmation is controlled by shopify store settings, not sakurabook.
If you have enabled manual capture of payments in your shopify store settings, you can manually authorize payments within the authorization period.You can also authorize payments automatically by enabling auto-confirmation.

How can I follow a customer who has made a reservation?Is there a function to automatically deliver alert emails the day before the reservation?

yes. There is a function that automatically sends an alert email the day before the reservation date. However, you cannot edit the content of the delivered email. (We plan to make it editable in future versions.)

Can any number of staff (service providers) be registered?

Yes, you can set the reservation reception date and time for each staff member according to the convenience of the registered staff (service provider). These can be reflected in each person's availability calendar in the reservation wizard.

Can customers choose their own start and end times when booking a service?

The customer selects the start time from the availability calendar. The end time is automatically determined according to the usage time set in the app management menu > Service > "Reservation time length (service provision time)". For example, if the reservation time is set to 1 hour, and the customer applies for a start time of 13:00, the end time will be 14:00.

How can I price my services?

The service fee will be reflected in the amount listed in Shopify's Product Management > Product Information Edit Menu > Pricing Settings. However, if you link the reservation service in the app, the amount listed will be reset, so you will need to write the amount (service fee) in the price setting again after linking with the app.

Is it possible to set the deadline for accepting reservation services?

It cannot be set.

What if a customer wants to cancel their reservation?

A
There is no cancellation function by the customer (user), so cancellations must be accepted via email or phone, and the site operator must manually process them using the reservation management calendar on the dashboard.

How does the availability calendar that can be placed on the product page of a Shopify site indicate availability?

Ask the customer to check the availability by marking "○", "△", "×", etc. "○" are all vacant. “△” is partially filled. All "x" are filled in. You can make reservations using the intuitive and easy-to-understand availability calendar.

Should I create the service introduction page where the reservation wizard is installed in the app's management menu?

No, by creating a service introduction page using Shopify's product page editor and adding the tag "service", you can link it to the app as a service introduction page. You can configure settings such as business hours, reservation time, preparation time, location selection (physical store/Zoom), and staff selection for the linked service in the app management menu.

Please check if "service" (half-width alphabet) is correctly written in the tag field in the product editing menu. Also, the product status must be published, not draft. If it still does not work properly, the existing product settings may be affected, so please try re-registering it as a new product.

Is it possible to set up a reservation calendar on any page of the site?

This is a function that can be set using Shopify's payment settings. Shopify has a POS function to make physical stores and EC omnichannel, so please check the Shopify site for details.
